Standing with Vivian: multiple myeloma treatment costs

Vivian was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in August. The oncology team at the Lagos Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks. Vivian is 43, worked as a bakery worker until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Lagos Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
