Thrissur
Vishnu was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in October. The oncology team at Thrissur University Hospital has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in January. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Vishnu is 47, worked as a bus conductor until October, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Thrissur University Hospital 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
