Standing with Victoria: stomach cancer treatment costs
Victoria is facing stomach cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Victoria was diagnosed with stomach cancer in June. The oncology team at Accra Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in August. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Victoria is 48, worked as a construction supervisor until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Accra Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $940
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $115
• Scans and lab work: $210
• Household costs while unable to work: $235
