Standing with Varsha: thyroid cancer treatment costs
Varsha is facing thyroid cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Varsha was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in August. The oncology team at Saket University Hospital has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in December. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Varsha is 43, worked as a construction supervisor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Saket University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $60
• Transport to Saket University Hospital: $70
• Household costs while unable to work: $145
