Thomas was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in April. The oncology team at Colorado Springs Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in July. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Thomas is 37, worked as a taxi driver until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Colorado Springs Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
