Terry was diagnosed with stomach cancer in October. The oncology team at Portland University Hospital has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in January. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Terry is 40, worked as a bank teller until October, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Portland University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $5,000
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $580
• Scans and lab work: $960
• Transport to Portland University Hospital: $860
