Standing with Subramanian: Hodgkin lymphoma treatment costs

Subramanian was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in July. The oncology team at Mangaluru Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Subramanian is 43, worked as a tailor until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Mangaluru Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
