Srinivas was diagnosed with prostate cancer in April. The oncology team at Patna University Hospital has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in July. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Srinivas is 47, worked as a construction supervisor until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Patna University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
