Standing with Sosuke: cervical cancer treatment costs

Sosuke was diagnosed with cervical cancer in August. The oncology team at the Tokyo Oncology Institute has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks. Sosuke is 54, worked as a shop owner until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Tokyo Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
