Standing with Sibusiso: stomach cancer treatment costs

Sibusiso was diagnosed with stomach cancer in May. The oncology team at the Johannesburg Oncology Institute has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in August. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Sibusiso is 28, worked as a primary school teacher until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Johannesburg Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
