Standing with Shahana: a rare sarcoma treatment costs

Shahana was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in July. The oncology team at Dhaka University Hospital has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Shahana is 31, worked as a construction supervisor until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Dhaka University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $450
• Transport to Dhaka University Hospital: $55
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $50
• Household costs while unable to work: $95
