Howrah
Sameer was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in February. The oncology team at Howrah Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in April. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks. Sameer is 34, worked as a tailor until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Howrah Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $1,850 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,350 • Scans and lab work: $170 • Transport to Howrah Regional Medical Center: $80 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $80 • Household costs while unable to work: $170 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly. - Omkar
