Standing with Sadia: stomach cancer treatment costs
Supporting Sadia through stomach cancer: medication, transport to Gujranwala Cancer Centre, and living costs while She can't work.
Anywhere in the worldPosted Oct 1, 2026904 views
Sadia was diagnosed with stomach cancer in August. The oncology team at Gujranwala Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Sadia is 40, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Gujranwala Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $450 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $135
• Household costs while unable to work: $220
• Transport to Gujranwala Cancer Centre: $95
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
