Standing with Russell: prostate cancer treatment costs

Russell was diagnosed with prostate cancer in August. The oncology team at Auckland Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Russell is 33, worked as a bus conductor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Auckland Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $9,200 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $6,250
• Scans and lab work: $1,400
• Transport to Auckland Regional Medical Center: $320
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $330
• Household costs while unable to work: $900
