Standing with Rosa: a rare sarcoma treatment costs
Rosa is facing a rare sarcoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Rosa was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in May. The oncology team at Bergamo University Hospital has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in July. She will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Rosa is 54, worked as a tailor until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Bergamo University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $4,300
• Household costs while unable to work: $800
• Transport to Bergamo University Hospital: $880
• Scans and lab work: $720
