Rima was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in March. The oncology team at the Sylhet Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in June. She will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Rima is 32, worked as a hairdresser until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Sylhet Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Scans and lab work: $170
• Transport to the Sylhet Oncology Institute: $60
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $70
