Standing with Rebecca: stomach cancer treatment costs
Supporting Rebecca through stomach cancer: medication, transport to New Orleans Regional Medical Center, and living costs while She can't work.

Rebecca was diagnosed with stomach cancer in June. The oncology team at New Orleans Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in August. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Rebecca is 35, worked as a primary school teacher until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to New Orleans Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Household costs while unable to work: $2,050
• Transport to New Orleans Regional Medical Center: $570
• Scans and lab work: $1,250
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $5,230
