Saying goodbye to Ilana - help with funeral expenses
Michal lost her grandmother suddenly and the family can't cover funeral and burial costs of $3,350.

Ilana, my grandmother, passed away on 18 September after a long fight with kidney disease. She was 69 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,350 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 2 October.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Ilana to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program.

• Transport of the deceased: $410
