Standing with Rashmi: thyroid cancer treatment costs
Rashmi is facing thyroid cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Rashmi was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in May. The oncology team at Aurangabad Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Rashmi is 28, worked as a primary school teacher until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Aurangabad Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $680
• Scans and lab work: $210
• Transport to Aurangabad Regional Medical Center: $130
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $65
• Household costs while unable to work: $315
