Pranjal was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in August. The oncology team at Varanasi Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Pranjal is 35, worked as a bus conductor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Varanasi Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $1,600 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,300 • Transport to Varanasi Regional Medical Center: $175 • Scans and lab work: $125 Glad we found this place.
