Standing with Paresh: thyroid cancer treatment costs
Paresh is facing thyroid cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Paresh was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in June. The oncology team at Mumbai University Hospital has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in August. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Paresh is 42, worked as a tailor until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Mumbai University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
