Standing with Pankaj: a rare sarcoma treatment costs

Pankaj was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in January. The oncology team at Chennai Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in March. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Pankaj is 47, worked as a nurse until January, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Chennai Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
