Standing with Omar: stage 2 breast cancer treatment costs

Omar was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in August. The oncology team at the Luxor Oncology Institute has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in December. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Omar is 24, worked as a farmer until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Luxor Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
