Standing with Omar: acute lymphoblastic leukemia treatment costs
Omar is facing acute lymphoblastic leukemia and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Omar was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in June. The oncology team at Durgapur University Hospital has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in August. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Omar is 42, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Durgapur University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,300
• Scans and lab work: $300
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $110
• Household costs while unable to work: $190
