Standing with Olivia: stage 2 breast cancer treatment costs
Olivia is facing stage 2 breast cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Olivia was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in July. The oncology team at Dallas University Hospital has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Olivia is 32, worked as a taxi driver until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Dallas University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $4,650
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,550
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $380
• Transport to Dallas University Hospital: $620
