Standing with Nour: stomach cancer treatment costs
Nour is facing stomach cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.
🇲🇦 Morocco550 views
Nour was diagnosed with stomach cancer in March. The oncology team at Casablanca Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in July. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Nour is 36, worked as a nurse until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Casablanca Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $500 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $320
• Transport to Casablanca Regional Medical Center: $90
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $90
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

A colleague of mine might know someone for this in Casablanca-Settat. I'll ask around and let you know!
Get well soon. Put this on a community board in Chandler this morning. Take care
stay strong. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Take care!
