Standing with Noor: acute lymphoblastic leukemia treatment costs
Noor is facing acute lymphoblastic leukemia and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Noor was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in May. The oncology team at Vigo Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in August. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Noor is 42, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Vigo Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $510
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $240
• Transport to Vigo Cancer Centre: $500
