Standing with Nikos: acute lymphoblastic leukemia treatment costs

Nikos was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in August. The oncology team at the Thessaloniki Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Nikos is 37, worked as a tailor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Thessaloniki Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
