Standing with Natalia: cervical cancer treatment costs

Natalia was diagnosed with cervical cancer in May. The oncology team at Coyoacán University Hospital has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in August. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Natalia is 53, worked as a construction supervisor until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Coyoacán University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
