Nadia was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in January. The oncology team at George Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in April. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Nadia is 44, worked as a bakery worker until January, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to George Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
