Standing with Mutua: multiple myeloma treatment costs

Mutua was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in July. The oncology team at Jinja University Hospital has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in September. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Mutua is 47, worked as a primary school teacher until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Jinja University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,350 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $125
• Household costs while unable to work: $200
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $900
• Transport to Jinja University Hospital: $125
