Standing with Mohammad: prostate cancer treatment costs

Mohammad was diagnosed with prostate cancer in October. The oncology team at Jessore Regional Medical Center has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in January. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Mohammad is 39, worked as a bank teller until October, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Jessore Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $590
• Scans and lab work: $130
• Transport to Jessore Regional Medical Center: $55
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $40
• Household costs while unable to work: $235
