Standing with Meet: prostate cancer treatment costs

In February I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. My oncology team at the Jaipur Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, and the first starts in June. I was told to expect about 12 weeks away from work. I never imagined I'd be writing something like this. I'm 44, I worked as a bakery worker until February, and I have been the main earner for my household. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, transport to the Jaipur Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income I have lost add up quickly. My family is doing everything they can, but we've already sold what we could and are borrowing for groceries. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
