Mathilde was diagnosed with stomach cancer in August. The oncology team at Lyon Cancer Centre has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 4 weeks. Mathilde is 47, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Lyon Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $7,600 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $4,500 • Scans and lab work: $750 • Transport to Lyon Cancer Centre: $530 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $390 • Household costs while unable to work: $1,430 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it. - Rémi
