Manisha was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in July. The oncology team at Kathmandu University Hospital has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Manisha is 42, worked as a tailor until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Kathmandu University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $900 goes: • Scans and lab work: $135 • Transport to Kathmandu University Hospital: $80 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $685 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it. - Ramesh
