Linda was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in July. The oncology team at Tamale University Hospital has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Linda is 39, worked as a construction supervisor until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Tamale University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $1,500 goes: • Transport to Tamale University Hospital: $155 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,050 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $100 • Scans and lab work: $195 Thank you for reading my story.
