Laiba is facing cervical cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

In May I was diagnosed with cervical cancer. My oncology team at the Multan Oncology Institute has planned 10 rounds of treatment, and the first starts in August. I was told to expect about 6 weeks away from work.
I never imagined I'd be writing something like this. I'm 57, I worked as a farmer until May, and I have been the main earner for my household.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, transport to the Multan Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income I have lost add up quickly.
My family is doing everything they can, but we've already sold what we could and are borrowing for groceries.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $800 goes:
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $105
• Scans and lab work: $200
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $495
