Standing with Kim: stage 2 breast cancer treatment costs
Kim is facing stage 2 breast cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Kim was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in August. The oncology team at Thủ Đức Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Kim is 25, worked as a construction supervisor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Thủ Đức Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,950 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,300
• Scans and lab work: $190
• Transport to Thủ Đức Cancer Centre: $90
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $55
• Household costs while unable to work: $315
