Standing with Kennedy: stage 2 breast cancer treatment costs

Kennedy was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in October. The oncology team at Sydney Cancer Centre has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in January. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Kennedy is 54, worked as a nurse until October, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Sydney Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
