Standing with Kelly: a rare sarcoma treatment costs

Kelly was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in April. The oncology team at São Paulo Cancer Centre has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in July. She will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Kelly is 40, worked as a bus conductor until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to São Paulo Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
