Junaid was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in July. The oncology team at Peshawar Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Junaid is 34, worked as a primary school teacher until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Peshawar Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Transport to Peshawar Regional Medical Center: $60
• Household costs while unable to work: $145
• Scans and lab work: $195

Transport to Peshawar Regional Medical Center is $60 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Good question.
