Józef was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in October. The oncology team at Poznań Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in December. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks. Józef is 40, worked as a taxi driver until October, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Poznań Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $4,350 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $3,250 • Transport to Poznań Cancer Centre: $410 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $240 • Household costs while unable to work: $450 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen. - Kacper
