Standing with Jorge: early-stage lung cancer treatment costs

Jorge was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in May. The oncology team at La Plata Cancer Centre has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in August. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Jorge is 36, worked as a bus conductor until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to La Plata Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
