Standing with Jimena: a rare sarcoma treatment costs

Jimena was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in April. The oncology team at Bucaramanga University Hospital has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in July. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Jimena is 27, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Bucaramanga University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
