Standing with Itzel: Hodgkin lymphoma treatment costs

Itzel was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in June. The oncology team at the Ciudad de México Oncology Institute has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Itzel is 52, worked as a construction supervisor until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Ciudad de México Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
