Standing with Itai: cervical cancer treatment costs
Itai is facing cervical cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Itai was diagnosed with cervical cancer in February. The oncology team at the Tel Aviv Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in May. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Itai is 30, worked as a construction supervisor until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Tel Aviv Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $6,700 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $2,600
• Scans and lab work: $1,300
• Transport to the Tel Aviv Oncology Institute: $830
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $800
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,170
