Standing with Isamu: kidney cancer treatment costs

Isamu was diagnosed with kidney cancer in February. The oncology team at the Yokohama Oncology Institute has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in June. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks. Isamu is 48, worked as a bank teller until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Yokohama Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
