Standing with Imran: prostate cancer treatment costs
Supporting Imran through prostate cancer: medication, transport to Abbottabad Regional Medical Center, and living costs while He can't work.
🇵🇰 Pakistan600 views
Imran was diagnosed with prostate cancer in February. The oncology team at Abbottabad Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in May. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Imran is 51, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Abbottabad Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $195
• Transport to Abbottabad Regional Medical Center: $45
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $640
• Scans and lab work: $120
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Hope you get there. Don't give up. All the best.
Rooting for you. Wishing Imran a smooth procedure and a full recovery. I went through something like this 3 years ago and strangers helped me out. Thinking of Abbottabad.
Wishing you peace, Aleena. Get well soon.
I hope things turn around soon. My husband and I read this together. Greetings from Dammam.
