Standing with Henrique: thyroid cancer treatment costs
Supporting Henrique through thyroid cancer: medication, transport to the Petrópolis Oncology Institute, and living costs while He can't work.

Henrique was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in April. The oncology team at the Petrópolis Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in August. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Henrique is 36, worked as a bus conductor until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Petrópolis Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $2,000
• Scans and lab work: $400
• Transport to the Petrópolis Oncology Institute: $250
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $210
• Household costs while unable to work: $290
