Standing with Gilles: a rare sarcoma treatment costs

Gilles was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in October. The oncology team at Toulon Cancer Centre has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in February. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Gilles is 44, worked as a taxi driver until October, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Toulon Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $5,700 goes:
• Transport to Toulon Cancer Centre: $420
• Scans and lab work: $480
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $4,800
